Mobile Application DesignLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

After completing the course the student hasa deep and wide understanding of developing
mobile applications from the point of view of a platform, user-centered design and design patterns .
The student will implement a demanding mobile application together with the needed server
functionality in groups of 1-3 students.

Qualifications

One of the application development courses in mobile programming module must be completed.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to apply development methods to solve the problem. the student takes into account usability requirements and is able to test usability. The final application fulfills the minimum requirements for the system.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student uses standard design patterns, and is able to implement an end-to-end system, including mobile and server functionality. The student follows deadlines without major chamges to the project plan. The student practices active self-regulation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student uses standard design patterns in an innovative manner. The development process is well-controlled. The student is able to implement an end-to-end system, that delights users.
