Osaamistavoitteet
The course provides an introduction to computer based measurement technologies and systems. On completion of the course students will know the principles of measurement system design and are able to develop, design and test measurement applications based on given specifications. Additionally the students learn to develop and use virtual instruments in designing measurement system.

On completion of the course student understands the principles of digital measurement systems and is able to develop and implement simple virtual instruments using graphical programming language.

On completion of the course student is able to design digital measurement systems as well as analyse and process measurement data. He or she is also able to design complex virtual instruments using graphical programming language.

On completion of the course student is able to desing, implement and maintain complex
measurement systems. He or she also capable of designing hiearchical virtual instruments according given specifications.
