Professional Swedish (compulsory for Finns)Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After completion of this course students will be able to tell about themselves, their education and jobs both orally and in writing, make an appointment and write short e-mail messages. Students will have some command of general technical language, field-specific language, telephone language and they will be able to present a familiar company.

Content

Education, working life, field-specific Swedish, both written and oral company presentations, company visits with relevant oral and written exercises, product presentations, small talk, telephone language, appointments, expression of opinion, e-mail, applying for a job.

Qualifications

Upper secondary school with the mark b or higher, passed entry-level test or passed Basic Swedish course
