After the course student knows technological and structural possibilities and challenges of bioenergy use.

Content

Small and large scale possibilities for bioenergy utilization. Combustion, gasification and pyrolysis of bioenergy. Liquid biofuels. Special issues on bioenergy use (logistics, land use, technical solutions and problems).

After the course student knows technological and structural possibilities and challenges of bioenergy use.

Student recognizes possibilities and limitations of bioenergy use and recognizes scientific background of bioenergy conversion.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student applies previous studies and content of this course on the area bioenergy. Student is capable to analyze bioenergy systems in plant, municipal and global level.
