Objective

The aim of the course is to introduce students with whole environmental risk cycle form the identification of different risks to the evaluation and management of risks. Main topics of the course are environmental risks of chemicals, formation of emissions and emission impacts. In additional students are doing chemical inventory analysis and environmental risk assessment for selected process.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Basic knowledge of classification and properties of human health, physical properties and environmental properties of chemicals. Process and environmental risk identifying and evaluation basis.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Understanding and evaluation of chemical and environmental risks in practice. Knowledge of GHS/Reach/Seveso documents.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Practice knowledge of preventive and corrective actions in minimizing chemical and environmental risks.
