The placement period’s main objectives are for students to experience the environment of a real, international workplace, develop interpersonal skills, acquire and develop technical skills associated with the nature of your work and acquire knowledge that will help students to plan and evaluate their future study and career development.
Students should become acquainted with working life in general and with the placement company’s area of business. During the placement students should take on “real employee” responsibility and learn how to apply theory in practice. The placement period is a good opportunity to explore the particular career option and make plans for future development.

Students can still choose to do the placement in two different periods already during the summer breaks. In this case one placement is approx. 3 months long and the study points will be 15 credits for each placement period.
If the student does the placement in two separate parts, the first placement is called Placement 1 (general) and the second is called Placement 2 (based on the major subject).
