Objective

Students will be able to describe the main logistics functions and material, money and information flows and how these are integrated into the business processes of the suppliers and customers in a way which is creating a value-adding supply chain network. Students will be able to compare the suitability of different transportation modes and delivery terms as well as the different inventory management and control systems and production strategies and processes. Students will be able to analyze different logistics costs and key performance indicators of logistics and supply chain management. Students will be able to recognize the significance of different information systems and technologies to the effective supply chain development.

Excellent performance: not only fulfils all standard requirements but demonstrates originality and imagination
