Objective

In anatomy and physiology, the aim is to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the basic structure of the human body, the organs, their function and regulation. In pathophysiology, students familiarise themselves with the manifestation of diseases, their development, structural changes related to diseases and the recovery process on a cellular and histological level from the perspective of pathophysiology.

Content

The structure of the human body, its function and regulatory systems: cells, tissues, skin and thermal regulation, bones and superficial muscles, blood and blood circulation, lymphatic system, respiration, digestion, urinary system and hydration, reproductive organs and functions, hormones and endocrine regulation, nervous system and senses.

On a cellular and histological level: central etiological factors of diseases, structural changes related to diseases and general principles of the recovery process of diseases, introduction to pathological research methods.
