Objective

The students can act and take responsibility as a team superior. They understand the resposibilities of a superior position and deepen their group interaction skills. They recognize elements of good leadership in supervisory position. The students recognize the requirements of good leadership for superiors and organization. The students can take diverese actors into account in their work in their own professional field and apply the principles of equality, and recognize the effects of disequality has to their own work. During the course the students are able to assess and develop their leadership competencies.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the requirements of a superior position. They can work as team leaders and needs guiding only occasionally. The students are able to report their activities as superiors.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students understand the requirements of a superior position and the role and significance of a superior in a functioning performance engineering organization. They can work as superiors of a small team. They can give rationale and argue for the decisions they make in a clear and comprehensive way and give reports on the activities of the organization. The students can act fluently in the interaction situations related to the superior position.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of a superior position, as well as the role and siginificance of a superior in a functioning performance engineering organization. They can work as superiors in their own professional field. They can give rationale and argue for the decisions they make in a clear and comprehensive way and give reports on the activities of the organization. The students can act fluently in the interaction situations related to the superior position.

The student knows the requirements of a superior position. They can work as team leaders and needs guiding only occasionally. The students are able to report their activities as superiors.

Qualifications

The participants are familiar with the use of live performance engineering in diverse use envireonments, know the key safety regulations and practices and has basic knowledge and skills in at least one field in live performance technology.
