After completing the course, the student
• is able to justify their pedagogical choices based on teaching and learning theories and ethical thinking of the teacher
• can describe the educational policy and societal starting points that influence the work of teachers
• can reflect on the teaching situations they encounter, drawing on theoretical knowledge about learning and teaching.

Qualifications

The student
• is capable of using learner-centred pedagogical methods as an expert in individual instruction of their instrument or in early childhood music education
• is capable of constructive interaction and goal-oriented, learner-centred music teaching
• can plan and implement broader educational development paths based on the learner's strengths
• is capable of providing feedback on longer learning processes and using feedback as a method to activate and encourage the learner
• can analyse learning sessions comprehensively
• can reflect on their pedagogical thinking and actions

The student
• is able to observe and describe the teaching situations they encounter
• is able to observe and describe the learning situations they encounter, drawing on their understanding of theoretical knowledge related to learning and teaching
• can justify their pedagogical choices based on theories of teaching and learning and the ethical thinking of the teacher.
