Objective

After completing the course the student understands the Digital-TV and High-Definition Digital-TV systems, Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB), IP Datacasting, Digital Video Broadcasting Handheld (DVB-H), IP-TV systems and related video- and audio standards and applications.

Content

Video and audio standards in DVB/HD-TV/DVB-H environment, digital video transmission systems and standards for terrestial, cable and satellite applications. Modulation (OFDM) and error correction technologies in DVB-T systems, IP Datacasting, Digital Video Broadcasting Handheld (DVB-H) system, IP-TV systems, applications in digital TV and DVB-H environment.
