Objective

Student will learn to calibrate volumetric glassware and equipments and s/he will understand the importance of traceability in laboratory work. Student will learn to estimate the reliability of results.

Content

• Concepts of metrology
• Calibration of volumetric glassware and equipments and estimation of reliability of results by statistical methods
• Calibration methods: calibration curve, internal standard and standard addition
