Objective
After completing the course the student knows electronic structured documents and how there are constructed and used in multi-channel and cross-platform publishing.

The student is able to define when the xml–based approach is an economically and technically argument to be used in publishing systems. The student is also able to construct xml-based structured documents and publish them using various channels.

Qualifications
Introduction to Media Technology, Publishing Tools and Introduction to Programming
Basic knowledge of html-scripting language and publishing tools is needed.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student understands the xml-based multi-channel publishing process and is able to describe the structure, content and output generation by means of xml languages.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student can independently design and implement the xml based publishing process.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student can design and develop the multi-channel publishing process used in a company.
