Objective
The student is familiar with the modelling techniques of the geometry with the help of the most used application programs. He is able to adapt when modelling geometric relations and mathematical relations. He can create models which function in a geometrically controlled way. The student is able to model assemblies from the components and subassemblies.
The student is able to model a given component. He can use geometric relations in the modelling. He can position and orient components using mates that form relations between components. He achieves the assemblies which to meet its functional demands.
Content
Modelling of the geometry using solid models. From parts formed by the assemblies. Making of documents from the part model and assembly models. The modelling is studied on commercial CAD application on the most general ones.
Contents utilising of CAD models in the planning of the product and in the testing of its operation. It is become acquainted with the properties and possibilities to use of the models in the analysis applications and simulation applications.
