Osaamistavoitteet

The student understands fundamentals of electronics. The student understands the principles of signal conditioning. The student learns how to combine different electronic circuits in order to design a simple analog electronics front end for data acquisition subsystems.

Sisältö

Signal amplification, biasing, anti-aliasing filtering, sampling, AD-conversion.

The student understands the operating principles of semiconductor components and operational amplifiers. The student understands the significance of A/D conversion.

The student is able to design simple transistor and operational amplifier circuits according to given specifications. The student understands the operation of A/D conversion.

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

The student profoundly understands the operational amplifier circuits. The student is able to analyze and design a simple signal conditioning circuits for given specifications using A/D converters.
