Objective

After completing the course, the student should have the ability to design, configure and manage L2/L3/L4 switch based networks.

Content

OSI level 2 and 3 switched techniques, virtual area networks, routing between VLANs and switch selection and definition, spanning tree protocol, failsafe switched local area networks and security in switched local area networks.
