Construction Economics ProjectLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

The course applies skills learned in earlier courses in project management related issues.
After the course the student:
- knows the main stages and principles of project development
- understands the importance of the project business in the operation of a construction company
- understands the main principles of the project´s finances
- is able to form a target for a given project
- is able to set the customer´s requirements as the target to the design team
- understands the main principles of design guidance in different stages of project
- is able to develop the project´s profitability.

Content

Students familiarize themselves with the current project from land acquisition to supply especially from the point of view of design guidance and development. During the course students familiarize themselves with how a project plan is developed through different design solutions to a finished product.

The student understands the basic principles of yhe project´s finances, content management and goal setting.

The student can apply the course content in project development.

The student can very well apply the course content in project development.
