Objective

The student will acquire basic knowledge of physical concepts, laws, principles and theories in the field, oscillation and wave motion. The student will become aware of the fact that physical theories are based on and verified by observations and measurements. He or she will learn how to formulate and solve problems that relate to the topics listed above. The knowledge gained will help the student in independent information acquisition in further studies and professional life.

- The superposition principle, standing waves, the Doppler effect
