Advanced Cinematography and Editing Workshop 4Laajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

Students know how to light, shoot and edit a scene of a short fiction film. They are able make moving camera shots. Students know the role of set, costume and makeup design in the visual look of the film.

Qualifications

Fundamentals of Cinematic Techniques (KM00BL09) and Lighting, Shooting and Editing a Scene (KM00BL23) or equivalent

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Attendance in classes. Assignments completed. Some parts of the assignments need improvement.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Active participation in classes. Ability to apply the learned knowledge.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Active participation in classes. Ability to apply the learned knowledge and to reflect on it. Development driven approach to coursework. Generation of new knowledge in order to contribute to the class.
