Objective

Students familiarise themselves with leadership competence in an occupational health care unit. They learn to identify the effects of work, work community and work environment on employees? health, well-being and ability to work in accordance with good occupational health care practice. Students are able to evaluate factors promoting or burdening health of a working age client and achieve competence in the use of client-orientated work methods promoting health. They can plan, implement and evaluate general health check-ups; carry out workplace surveys; and participate in the planning of health promotion at workplace.
