Thousand Ideas for Baltic SeaLaajuus (10 ECTS)

Objective

Student takes part in innovation project as a member of a group (4-5 persons). The groups are homing ones. The groups are to form a project group.
The aim of the project group is to develop ideas for improving the state of the Baltic Sea. The ideas will be developed in groups (aim is 10 ideas for a group) . The ideas will be stored in a digital idea bank.
The aim is to find a company/several companies that are committed to BSAG (Baltic Sea Action Group). The project group is to contact the company and develop the idea further with the company. The project group can find a new company/new companies and commit the company to BSAG.

Content

Design/plan, manage and implement the innovation project. Develop the concept to Thousand Ideas for Baltic Sea including marketing and brand development. Development of an idea, implementing(technical/marketing), assessment of impacts. Working as a member of a project group.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The group performs a projectplan, a marketing plan and a final report. The ideas are developed so that they can to be implemented in practise. The impacts of the ideas are assessed. Company cooperation is confirmed. The ideas are performed in an open forum. The evaluation includes new company conntacts and presentation of an own idea.
