Objective

After completion of this course the student will be familiar with the specific demands in building environment, understand the various phases of building measurements and how measurements are related to them. After completion of this course the student will be able to carry out building measurements, interpret building plans to collect data for measurements and evaluate the processes and quality of building measurements.

Content

Ground control point measurements in building measurements. Digital terrain models (DTM, DEM, TIN). Geodetic road measurements. Underground and underwater measurements. Building measurement methodologies. Measurement standards. Planning phase measurements. Stake out measurements. As Built measurements and documentation. Building measurement quality assurance.
