Objective
Objectives:
The student will master diversified collaboration and networking. The student will be able to communicate appropriately with different collaboration groups, familiar with the requirements of project communication and will train his cooperation skills. The student will acquire the principles of project management and will be able t use them in his own professional work. The student knows how to make a project plan and how to manage it. The student will train his skills in his own professional field and will be able to evaluate his skills as part of the project. The student will be trained to acquire and apply information from various sources and compare it to previously acquired knowledge. The student takes into account his own needs as well as those of others’. The student familiarizes himself with the practices and operators of different fields of study. The student understands the character of gathering information and the innovation project and recognizes a situation that requires creative problem solving in his design work. The student can argue convincingly and justify his choices as part of a cooperative project.

Content:
1) Personal working life inspired designing project:
- product designing and developing, coordination and management.
– Designer’s communication skills in a business collaboration project.
– Product development and/or research in the professional or diverse fields.
– Applying studies into practise.
– Working life cooperation.
2) Project management: The principles of project management.
– The life cycle of a project.
– Literature appropriate to the project.
– Making a project plan related to the Bachelor’s thesis.
Teaching methods: lectures, exercises, independent work.
Evaluation: lectures and assignments, project plan related to the Bachelor’s thesis, project portfolio, collection portfolio, presenting the portfolios
