Journal DesignLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The students will learn the basics of the visual design of a journal. The students will learn how to design a good layout template and to create a typographical hierarchy and to set layout guidelines that are easy to use and follow during journal design and in the preparation for production. The students will understand the specific characteristics of printed and digital journals and can also apply them in practice.
