The student:
- Understands the rules, processes, and tools for project management
- Is able to use project management tools and techniques in a real business development project
- Is able to manage small-scale projects in the international health business environment

- The life-cycle of a project and project management: planning, organising, managing, concluding, evaluating and reporting
- Project management methods and tools
- Evaluating and analysing the project management process and results

The student
- is able to describe the project management process and tools
- has limited skills in applying project management tools in small-scale projects in the health business environment
- understands and knows only the basics of how to use key concepts of project management
- inadequately justifies his or her personal view, inadequately expresses critical evaluation, reflection and development proposals

The student
- is able to describe very well the project management process and tools and is able to give examples
- is able to apply independently and flexibly project management tools in small-scale projects in the health business environment
- understands and knows how to use key concepts of project management
- justifies his or her personal view and critical evaluation, expresses justified reflection and development proposals

The student
• has an excellent knowledge of the project management process and tools and is able to give examples connected to his or her own experiences
• has excellent skills in applying independently and flexibly project management tools in small-scale projects in the health business environment
• has an excellent understanding and knowledge of the key concepts of project management
• is excellent in communication; fluent in writing and expressing his or her profound and well justified views

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The student has the possibility to apply for recognition of prior learning and to receive an approval for accreditation for this course if the student has proven working life experience in project mangement. This work experience needs to be from acting as a project manager for a wide-ranging, long-term project with strategic importance to the organisation, also including budgetary responsibility.
