Objective

The student will learn the phases of infrastructure techniques and will be able to understand infrastructural plans. Furthermore, the student will understand how land surveying and infrastructural techniques are related to each other.

Content

Sectors and concepts of infrastructure. Basics of environment technology in construction. Transportation and traffic routes. Water engineering, water supply and sewerage. Waste management. Environmental impacts of construction works (noise, vibrations, dust).

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the meaning of municipal engineering in a built environment.
