Objective

After completing the study unit, students
• are familiar with the special features of emergency nursing
• can assess the urgency of care regarding emergency patients of different ages
• can observe and treat emergency patients of different ages
• provide patient education to patients and their significant others

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students are competent in assessing the urgency of care of emergency patients in different age groups as well as observe and treat these patients.
