Objective
Student can explain the structure of the joints of the spine, thorax and pelvis and analyse the meaning of the structure to the joint functions.
They can name the muscles of the body and neck and describe their location and funtion. Student explains innervation of these muscles. Students know how to define observation as part of diagnostics. Student recognises different body types.
Content
Joints of spine. Joints of thorax. Joints of pelvis. Deep back muscles, abdominal muscles, neck muscles, respiratory muscles, pelvic muscles and their function. Basics of segmental innervation of body muscles. Professional termionology. Observation of standing posture. Body types. Localisation of structures and muscles on the surface. Course includes 1 cr of practice
