Objective
The course gives skills for mental wellbeing and stress management: how to recognize stress-creating thought and action patterns and how to relinquish stress symptoms like nervousness. During the course different relaxation methods such as diaphragmatic breathing and body awareness are being learned. The aim is to be able to be present unconditionally, to let go of attachment to constantly changing phenomena of life. Increased awareness enables one to commit to valuable goals regardless of thoughts or emotions.
Content
The course gives an introduction to mindfulness as a psychological skill. During the course different practices are explored in order to learn to observe mind, body and senses in the present moment with acceptance.
