• recognises the changes in the field of user interface design
• recognises the design requirements set by end devices
• knows the effects of usability and information architecture on user interface design
• is familiar with the most common design techniques
• understands the importance of visuality for user interface design
• knows the appropriate design solutions and identifies key design guidelines.

• demonstrates good understanding of the changes in the field of user interface design
• understands the design requirements of end devices
• understands the effects of usability and information architecture on user interface design
• knows the most common design techniques
• understands the importance of visuality for user interface design
• knows the appropriate design solutions and the basic design guidelines.

The student
• has an excellent understanding of the changes in the field of user interface design
• understands the design requirements set by end devices
• understands the effects of usability and information architecture on user interface design and can apply this knowledge in design
• is proficient in the most common engineering techniques
