Objective
After completing the course, the student
• is able to explain the different corrosion mechanisms and their effects on different materials, apply different corrosion prevention methods and evaluate their effectiveness in practice, and select the most suitable methods and raw materials from a sustainable development perspective
• is able to assess the suitability of wear management for different applications, analyse case studies and apply the methods learned to industrial solutions, and develop solutions for corrosion and wear management to improve the sustainability and ecology of products.

• Painting systems and paint application
• Wear mechanisms and wear prevention
