Objective
On completion of the course, the student knows the basic applications of thermodynamics.
The student will be able to apply the laws of thermodynamics to heat engines, and understand the limitations of the laws.
The student will be able to calculate physical quantities of thermodynamic processes and cycles, such as pressure, volume and temperature. He/she also will also be able to calculate thermal efficiencies of heat engines.
