Objective

Objectives
Students will be familiar with quality assurance recommendations related to radiography and know how to administer radiation in a medically safe way. During the studies, the students will learn how the imaging unit operates and how it can be developed from the viewpoint of health care and first-line management. Students participate is quality work related to their work.
Students can act responsibly in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, being capable of developing practices in their field and taking responsibility for patient care, and understanding the importance of management in terms of care quality and a how it contributes to radiography quality. The students will be able to assess their own expertise and professional development.

Content

Quality management and quality management methods in radiography.
The students will choose content according to their individual study plans (ISPs) taking into account their objectives.

Qualifications

Management, society and entrepreneurship, Clinical practice of clinical procedures made during radiographic imaging. At least 140 credit points completed.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students can assess radiography work and its development challenges from the viewpoint of first-line management and quality work. They will also be familiar with quality assurance methods and can develop radiography safety in their own field of expertise. They will also be able to operate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and assess their own skills and professional development.
