Objective
Psychophysical physiotherapy 1: 3 cr
Term 3
Students understand the significance of the assessment of their self-knowledge and resources to building a therapeutic relationship and implementing therapy. They are able to describe the relation between the body and mind in diverse life situations. Students have subjective experiences of promoting body awareness by means of relaxation. They are able to choose and use various means of relaxation techniques to support clients’ resources.
Psychophysical physiotherapy 2: 3 cr
Term 5
Students are able to form and develop a therapeutic relationship with clients based on interaction.
They use resource and motivation analyses in assessing their clients’ resources as a foundation for implementing physiotherapy. Students are able to choose and use appropriate assessment methods to improve body awareness. They can choose and use diverse methods of physiotherapy to develop clients’ body awareness and functional ability responding to different life situations.
