Objective

The search for cheaper and faster way to develop software leads many organizations to look for manpower in remote places so as among new social sectors. Global Software Development (GSD) has become with the years a common way of working. It means that multi-cultural teams are becoming more and more widespread.
The understanding how to work together with colleagues from various cultures and different social sub-groups became a prominent condition to create a successful team and effective working results. Intercultural competence is no longer a course taught only in the psychology, sociology and education departments but also in the ICT, Engineering and Biotechnology departments, as a result of the globalized and international working environment.
