Objective

On completion of the course, the students are able to identify the key elements and phenomena of his/her professional field in Finland. They will also be able to compare the Finnish context to their home country and point out differences and similarities in these.

Content

An independent study assignment to explore the student’s professional field in the Finnish context. The assignment is designed to help the student get acquainted with the key characteristics of his/her field in Finland and to reflect on his/her observations. The assignment might include visits to key places of interest or analysis of websites or other material, depending on the degree programme in question.
