Objective
The students draw up a business plan for their business idea. On this course, the students get to apply the learning outcomes from the course Basics of Entrepreneurship and Running a Business. Upon completion of this course, the students have the basic skills to start a business, and they are able to critically and realistically evaluate business opportunities and starting a business.

• Preparing a business plan for the business idea to create value for the customer
• Price formation of products or services
• Importance of sales for the company
• Business Environment Analysis (BEA)
• Competitor Analysis
• Cash flow statement and avoiding delayed payment
• Basics of preparing the financial statements
• Financial statements analysis, i.e. understanding profitability, solvency and liquidity
• Company valuation
• Impact of economic trends on the economy
• Company stakeholders and their importance

Students have achieved the course objectives fairly. Students will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models.

Students have achieved the course objectives well, even though the knowledge and skills need improvement on some areas. Students are able to define the course concepts and models and are able to justify the analysis.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students have achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks. Students master commendably the course subject area’s concepts and models. Students are able to make justified and fluent analysis and to present concrete development measures or apply the objectives in practice.
