The student
- knows the essential concepts of AI and the principles of algorithmic thinking.
- can critically evaluate the reporting and discussions around AI.
- is able to assess the possibilities and challenges that AI brings to their own working filed in the future.
- can compare, how different AI applications apply to their own working field.
- is able to apply the information related to AI to develop their own working field.

Elements of Artificial Intelligence free online course 2 ECTS
- basics of AI and examples of the AI usage
- AI problem solving
- real world AI applications
- machine learning and neural networks
- implications of AI
Part II: Use of AI in student’s own working field and deepening student’s AI competence 3 ETCS
Student independently performs a systematic literature review to find out
- how AI is used in her or his working field
- what kind of ethical issues are related to the use of AI
- how information may be critically applied
