Objective

R is an open-source programming language specifically designed for statistical analyses. This course takes you through the fundamentals of R programming, including data import and manipulation, basic summary statistics, and data visualization.

This course is designed for students who want to get started with R programming. After the course, the student will have basic knowledge of R programming and how this programming language can be used for effective data analysis. He or she knows how to install and load packages, as well as import, manipulate, and save data in R. He or she knows how to draw summary statistics and perform basic statistical analyses in R. He or she knows data visualization in R and how to prepare publication-ready images.
