Objective

On completion of the course the student will know the principles of site management and will be able to apply them when creating production plans.
The student is familiar with various schedule types and is able to use them to create site plans.
In addition, the student knows the different viewpoints of quality, the principles of quality management and quality assurance, and is able to create a quality plan for a site.
On completion of the course the student can at least
- describe the contents of working plans for an apartment building and the principles of using the plans
- describe the proceedings in managing a site
- produce an input based general schedule of an apartment building project
- produce an input based construction phase schedule of an apartment building project
- produce a finishing schedule of an apartment building project
- produce a quality plan for a project.

- Planning schedules based on quantity surveying
- Site management based on planning
- Management of the finishing phase
- The components of quality

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to create schedules using a place-time chart and a line schedule.
The student knows the components of quality and the methods of quality management.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to create schedules using a place-time chart and a line schedule, applying the principles of site management.
The student is able to apply the components of quality in quality control.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to create schedules using a place-time chart and a line schedule, applying the principles of site management. The student is able to apply the components of quality.
