Objective

Student understands Basic theory of Wireless networks and can configure and maintain wireless networks in corporate netrworks. Student also undestands how different routing and switching protocols work and can configure and maintain medium size corpaorate networks. Course also includes some relevant Matematics.

Content

Wireless LAN protocols, Configuring stand alone Access point, Configuring Controller based Wireless LAN systems, Configuring routers and switches in corporate networks: OSPF , EIGRP Routing protocols, Spanning tree. Matematics. A practical project involving Wireles networks is also constructed during this course

The student has achieved the course objectives fairly. The student will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student has completed the required learning exercises in minimum requirement level. His/her competences have developed in a way that he/she may increase his/her knowledge in the given field and finally work in a suitable job position related to this field.
