Objective

On completion of the course, the student is familiar with the basic concepts of corporate economy and can apply them to companies, or his or her role as an employee.
The student can understand economic interdependencies and analyse their effect on the operation of an organisation.
The student recognizes the basic mechanisms of a business organization and is able to form a holistic understanding of the operation of a company.
The student has a basic understanding of corporate economy.

Content

The basics of corporate economics, supply and demand, market structures, production and costs, values, corporate strategy, analysing companies and basic tools for this, planning and developing business operations, competition.

The student knows the topics in a satisfactory manner.

The student can define the relevant concepts and models well and is able to analyse phenomena.

The student understands the importance of expertise in the field and can analyse his or her own level of expertise.
