Learning outcomes of the course
After completion of course student is familiar with the basic termology of geodesy. Student will also understand the geophysical and mathematical backgrounds of geodesy.
Student is familiar with common geodetic measurement instruments.
Student understands basics of common geodetic calculations.
Student understnds the meaning of maesurement and mapping techniques to geoinformatics and real estate techniques.
Student will recognise the connection of geodesy to remote sensing, laserscanning and satellite positioning.

No previous knowledge required.
Basics of geodesy, geodetic calculations and geodetic instruments.
Basics of Remote Sensing, Laserscanning and Satellite Position and Navigation.
Student knows the basics of measurement and mapping techniques.
Student will understand the importance of measurement and mapping techniques to land surveying.
Student is able to in an innovative way benefit measurement and mapping techniques as part of land surveying.
