Objective
The course applies skills learnt in earlier courses to project management.
On completion of the course the student
- knows the main stages and principles of project development
- understands the importance of project economics in the operation of a construction company
- understands project finance
- is able to form a target for a given project
- is able to set the customer´s requirements as the goal in designing
- understands the main principles of design guidance at different stages of a project
- can increase the profitability of a project.
Content
Students familiarise themselves with a topical project from land acquisition to supply especially from the point of view of design guidance and development. During the course students familiarise themselves with how a project plan is developed through different design solutions to a finished product.

The student understands the basic principles of project development, ways of working and the roles of different parties. The student understands the basic principles of project economics, content management and goal setting.
