Objective

Becoming more effective in using your own time and resources and therefore becoming more productive in anything you do.Freeing creative energy for the areas of your life that you want to give (more) attention.

Content

- Understand your own time management and outline the desirable situation how you want to spend your time.
- Understand your motivation (not) to handle certain tasks.
- Understand what holds you back to finish things/be more productive.
- Improve your planning skills.
- Learning how to recognize and diminish procrastination.
- Learning how to choose means that supports you in your time management.
- Getting acquainted with various Time Management methods.

Location and time

The training lasts four days and takes place once a week.

Day 1: Mon 8th of November 13:00 – 17:00
Day 2: Mon 15th of November 13:00 – 17:00
Day 3: Mon 22th of November 13:00 – 17:00
Day 4: Mon 29th of November 13:00 - 17:00

In the time in-between classes students will get assignments that gives them the chance to try out some time management techniques.

Compulsory preparation before the course: Doing assignment regarding your relationship with time.
Only students who do the pre-assignment can participate the course.
Pre-assignment is published in the course workspace on 1 Nov at the latest.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student understands fundamentals of time management, and is able to apply time management techniques.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Student can use time management techniques to make his/her weekly schedule more productive.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student masters time management techniques and choose proper techniques to each weekly task.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Student understands fundamentals of time management, and is able to apply time management techniques.
