Objective

On completion of the course the student can plan the use of precast elements and supervise their installation on site as well as supervise floor construction.

The manufacturing and common uses of precast elements as well as related rules and regulations
Installation methods and joint details for precast elements
The process of precast element installation, planning, choosing machinery and audits
Occupational safety and site logistics related to precast element installation
Requirements and instructions related to concrete floor construction
The process of concrete floor construction, planning, supervising casting and post-casting work phases
Occupational safety issues related to concrete floor construction
