Objective

Students can describe the basic structure of nerve cells and tissue, as well as nerve impulses. They are able to identify the main structures of the central nervous system and explain their main tasks. The student can specify the basic features of motor regulation. Students can explain the main structural elements of the autonomic nervous system and its effects on the human body. Students are familiar with the main elements of the structure and function of the peripheral nervous system and its effects on the human body. Students are able to use foreign terminology related to the main structures. The student can describe the basics of energy metabolism and hormonal regulation of growth. Students are familiar with the risk factors and development of common respiratory, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The students are able to describe the examination and treatment protocols used in internal medicine. Students can explain the significance of medication in physiotherapy.
