Objective
Students will understand the principles of strategic and operational management, especially from the perspective particular to social work management. They will know the main subjects related to financial and HR management within the client service unit, organisational communication, and the management and development of customer-driven service processes as well as service operations. They will understand the processes of development and management in the working community, as well as the principles for promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
Content
Contemporary theories of leadership. Management and development of the client service unit and its processes. Workplace and knowledge management, and management skills. Management of multi-sector customer service and coordination of partnership networks. Management and development of strategic wellbeing.
