Objective

Students will be able to identify and evaluate important development needs of working life and the clients who use their services. They will have a command of the premises and concepts of R&D and service design, and be able to apply them in the service and product development processes of their fields of study. Students will know how to search for, critically evaluate and justify the appropriate research data and professional codes of conduct for their areas of study. They will be able to think critically, know the basics of concept and theory formulation, and understand the significance of the theory of knowledge to development work. Students will base their activity on good ethical standards in R&D.

Location and time

Opintojakson aloitus eli etäorientaatio to 20.8.2020 klo 12.45-14.15 (Zoomissa -linkki lähetetään työtilan kautta ennen alkamisajankohtaa). Orientaatioon osallistuminen on vapaaehtoista, mutta suositeltavaa. Vaihtoehtoisesti itsenäinen perehtyminen opintojakson opiskeluohjeisiin ja oppimistehtäviin. Opintojaksolla käytetään Moodle -oppimisympäristöä. Moodle -työtila aukeaa orientaation yhteydessä ja vaatii itsekirjautumisen.

Opintojakson TENTTI to 1.10. 2020 klo 12.45-16. Opintojakson tentti on Moodle -tentti, joka sisältää opintojakson oppimateriaalin lisäksi erillisen tentin yhteydessä jaettavan materiaalin.

Uusintatenttien ajankohdat:
1. uusintatentti 27.10 klo 12.45-16
2. uusintatentti 1.12 klo 12.45-16

Ensimmäinen uusintatentti on samalla opintojakson korotustentti, jossa tenttiarvosanaa voi yrittää korottaa. Uusintatentit tehdään moodletenttinä ja niihin ilmoittaudutaan opettajan opintojakson orientaatiossa antaman ohjeistuksen mukaisesti viimeistään 5 päivää ennen tenttiajankohtaa (1. uusintatenttiin viimeinen ilmott. päivä 22.10 ja 2. uusintatenttiin viimeinen ilmott. päivä 26.11) Uusintatenttien yhteydessä jaetaan lisämateriaali.

Toteutuksen osallistujamäärä on rajoitettu. Etätoteutukseen valitaan maksimissaan 30 opiskelijaa. Mikäli ilmoittautuneita on enemmän, noudatetaan valinnassa seuraavia perusteita järjestyksessä:
1. Opintojen ajoitussuunnitelman mukainen pakollinen opintojakso
2. Ilmoittautumisjärjestys, mikäli 1. kohdan ehdon täyttäviä ilmoittautuneita on enemmän kuin mitä maksimimäärä osoittaa.
