Clinical practice includes learning laboratory and simulation studies 2.5 ects

Location and time

Clinical practice weeks 7-11.

Materials

Vocational literature on the practice environment told in connection with theoretical studies.

Teaching methods

Clinical practice and Simulation (2.5 ECTS) is organized at the school in connection with theoretical studies prior to the internship. Clinical practice place is in the acute care environment chosen by the student.

Completion alternatives

No optional methods. The student can accept the training but this is not recommended.

Student workload

Clinical practice is 7.5 ECTS credits and 5 weeks or 200 hours. During the training, the working methods, shifts and general principles of the work community are followed in connection with the training. During the practice there is potential written assignment, which provides separate instruction in theory studies. Doing that does not reduce the number of hours of training.

Content scheduling

Weeks 7-11 practical training. If a student graduates in April, the practice must be completed before the graduation date.

Syventävää -harjoittelua ennen:
Perusopinnot suoritettu harjoitteluineen, hoitotason teoria ja harjoittelu suoritettu, teho- tai valvontaosastolla tai perioperatiivisessa toimintaympäristössä edellyttää hyväksyttyä tehohoito- ja perioperatiivinen hoitotyön opintojaksoa ja tähän kuuluvien lääkelaskujen hyväksyttyä suorittamista.

Opiskelijan tulee tutustua oppilaitoksen harjoitteluohjeisiin ja tulostaa itselleen harjoittelulomakkeet ennen harjoittelua.
Opiskelija vastaa siitä, että hän on tietoinen harjoittelun vaatimuksista ja ohjeista.
Opiskelijan tulee esitellä päivitetty jobiili-CV:nsä sekä tavoitteensa työelämäohjaajalleen ensimmäisten harjoittelupäivien aikana.
Harjoittelunajankohdat eli päivät ja päivien kesto sovitaan harjoittelun työelämäohjaajan kanssa kirjallisesti käyttäen oppilaitoksen kaavaketta. Opiskelijan tulee noudattaa sovittuja ajankohtia. Harjoittelun tuntimäärä on 200.
Viimeistään harjoittelun ensimmäisen viikon päätyttyä opiskelija palauttaa työelämäohjaajan hyväksymät tavoitteensa ohjaavalle opettajalle.
Opiskelija saa tavoitteista palautteen ja on velvollinen sitoutumaan harjoittelunsa tavoitteisiin.
Loppu-/väliarviointi tehdään opiskelijan, työelämäohjaajan ja ohjaavan opettajan kontaktilla, etäyhteydellä tai tarvittaessa opettajan henkilökohtaisella käynnillä.
Harjoittelun päätyttyä opiskelija palauttaa tehtävän ja harjoittelun lomakkeet asianmukaisesti täytettynä ohjaavalle opettajalle.
